I suggested next weekend as a good time for me, and she said she has Friday and Sunday nights off. Would anyone like to come with? If someone else ends up driving I’ll chip in for gas etc.
I really can think of nothing better right now than to spend a few (perhaps many) hours in a dimly lit arcade pumping quarters into old cabinets and maybe melting some faces at SF2 or whatever…

I can do Friday night. I can do Sunday day. I can’t really do Sunday night with having to work early Monday morning.
I’d love to carpool down and do this, and not having to drive sounds pretty damn appealing.

So I’d really like to do this, and am about 70% sure I can make it. I just need to know some of the details before I can be a definite yes.

Anyway I am of course in for an evening of geeking out over original Pac-Man arcade cabinets, playing “Toobin’” with the second-generation trackball, and discussing the changeover to switching power supplies with other classic VG nerds.
I would be up for driving people down, provided my carmobile 9000LX is up and running. I need to get a service done this week, so depending on what the prognosis is (besides ‘shit car’) I may or may not be able to actually do so. Of course I would probably leave way earlier than anybody else…
Sounds good, I would be fine with doing something Sunday day time if you’re all interested! I will check with them early next week to see if they are open on Sunday during the day.
I just want to warn you so you are not disappointed…SOME (like 3?) of the games I saw were “out of order”, like Street Fighter, just a warning!!!

The Julia’s in, if it’s on Sunday. I’ll be babysitting a bratty 13-year-old on Friday night but getting paid bank to do so. So I could blow said babysitting money on Sunday
So it’s looking good for Sunday then… assuming they’re open on Sunday, I called a couple times today but it just keeps ringing forever. Maybe if I email them on Wednesday that we’re coming down they’ll open just for us. I’ll try that if nothing else works.
But for now let’s plan to leave P-town area at noon, pick up Miles, and get there by 2. That leaves lots of time for eating, drinking, videogaming, sobering up, and driving home so we can be at work on Monday. We might need 2 cars, cause Pete wants to go too, so that’s 7 counting Miles in Albany.
I’m still down for going, but I’d prefer not to drive…I was gonna say that warren should drive down and pick up miles, cause they’ll both probably want to leave early. and if Geoff could drive me down, but if his brother want’s to come….well I guess pete could drive us down in his saturn. I’d chip in for gas of course..
Scratch that, I can’t go. Claire’s coming up from Corvallis that day to see me. Would be rather bitchy on my part if I was in Eugene. Sorry dudes!
